Shiras Hayam Girls Choir is a 3 month program that happens twice a year which brings together girls who have a passion for singing. All girls are welcome, no prior training or skills required!

Spring 2026 is almost here and we are so excited to prepare for our Fourth Annual Women's Concert for the Baltimore community!
The Program
This spring, Shiras Hayam is proud to present our Fourth Annual Women's Concert, attended yearly by 1500 women, featuring our incredible girls alongside special guest Tehila Ehrlich!
Performing in a live concert with a professional artist is an empowering experience that builds confidence, pride, and a true sense of accomplishment for every girl.
The concert will take place on Monday evening, May 25th (Memorial Day) at the Murphy Fine Arts Center
Concert Experience
Girls will perform in multiple songs througout the concert.
When not on stage, girls will be seated backstage as part of the full concert experience.
7th & 8th grade girls will enjoy an additional featured song.
Shiras Hayam Littles (1st & 2nd grade) will be seated as a group in the audience to enjoy the show and will come up to the stage as a group to perform three songs. (You will not need to purchase a ticket for your daughter)
Please note:
Parents and guests will need to purchase tickets to attend the concert. Tickets will start at $36 and a limited Shiras Hayam family section will be available for $28, first come first serve.

Session Details
This session includes 10 total classes:
8 regular practices
1 full run-through practice (held on a Sunday, date TBA based on theater availability).
Concert day!
Please note one additional practice date is listed above for each group. If we feel the girls would benefit from it, we will use it; otherwise it will be canceled.

Is Shiras Hayam voice lessons?
The short answer is no. We do vocal exercises each class, but our main focus of choir, is the sound of the choir as a whole. The vocal cords are a muscle, by setting a time each week for singing, your daughters voice will improve by default. We learn: breathing techniques, emotion while singing, acting techniques for the music video, and how to successfully record in the studio.
How much does it cost?
Each 6 week session is 350$ per girl. Siblings each get a 15$ discount. You can pay in two payments if you prefer.
If you want to cancel before the second class, you will receive half back. After the second class, there are no refunds as spots are limited and competitive.
Does my daughter need to have a “good” voice to join Shiras Hayam?
No! In Shiras Hayam we believe in honing in on each girl's individual singing ability. We try our best to give each girl a chance to shine. Classes in Shiras Hayam are a lot of fun, and for everyone to enjoy!
What does the music video day look like?
We will be filming two music videos: an original song and a beautiful cover song. The original song will be a larger production, with most practices focusing on it, while the cover song will be a smaller, shorter production.
Each video is different and we send out information when we have it closer to the film day. We film for about 2-5 hours at our film location.
What does my daughter wear to the music video?
The girls will be receiving adorable custom Shiras Hayam costumes. In addition the girls will need a specific outfit.
Each video is different but we give a heads up so you can buy or borrow from a friend. Generally we pick something practical like a black knee length flairy skirt, black tights, a white shell, and white sneakers
Will my daughter get a solo in the video?
While we try our best to allow each girl to shine in the music video, due to the size of the choir and many other filming/editing factors it is impossible to have an equal amount of screen time for each girl.
